Here, Hare, Hair?

Not too much to blog about at the moment I'm afraid.

Although I did dye my hair it's usual dark hue after being a redhead for at least a month.

This colour isn't inherited from Richard (of RBB) though. His hair is (as far as I am aware) naturally dark.

My hair (last time I saw it's natural colour) was light/medium brown.

Fascinating stuff eh!

Welcome to Carlucciland!

Hello there.
Well the weather on Saturday held out and this meant that Quinn and I made it to Carlucciland.
It was fantastic!
Carlucciland consists of mini-golf, crazy/amazing sculptures, a chicken and very friendly owners.
We didn't meet Carl(lucci) himself, but we met his wife.
Mrs Carlucci explained to us, the vision her husband had had for the sculptures and land, and his passion for using only recycled materials.

I would highly recommend Carlucciland to all.
(For those that don't know... It is on the right hand side, just before the turn-off to the Happy Valley rubbish tip in Wellington. Quite hard to miss).

Today Quinn and I plan to go to Carlucciland to play minigolf. The weather is not looking ideal though.

An Army... of coloured pencils

I have 101 coloured pencils. Don't bother counting them because some of  the 101 are lost.
I won these.
I'm pretty sure it was the first and only time I have ever won coloured pencils.

I won them a few years ago when I was a Textile Design student.

But now I (sometimes) use them to draw my painted faces.

Boris and Natalia meet Frida

You may have noticed in the last photo that Boris and Natalia have a friend.

Meet Frida Kahlo (the sock doll edition).

I made Frida as part of the Wellington City Libraries Leadership week project.

I'm not sure who the sock belonged to before it became Frida.
