An Army... of coloured pencils

I have 101 coloured pencils. Don't bother counting them because some of  the 101 are lost.
I won these.
I'm pretty sure it was the first and only time I have ever won coloured pencils.

I won them a few years ago when I was a Textile Design student.

But now I (sometimes) use them to draw my painted faces.

  1. I love the dancing girls. Weren't the chosen colours actually based on those in an old wedding photo?

  2. Yes the Textile were based on a photo of Richard (of RBB) and Shelley (of RBB)'s wedding.
The project was about memories being surrealised and of how photos can evoke these memories through being familiarised over the years. Or something like that.

  4. I collect pencils too. I have a part time job cleaning at a primary school. The childen drop them on the floor. I used to put them on the tables but then I realized they are great for carpentry and if they are too f'ing lazy to pick them up it's their lose. Lately I've started keeping coloured pencils too.

  5. Why stop at pencils?
Kids leave coats, bags, shoes, hats and even other kids behind. Why not take them all?

  6. Agree! Another kid leaves his sandwiches behind the toilet. His loss my gain I say!
