I have 101 coloured pencils. Don't bother counting them because some of the 101 are lost.
I won these.
I'm pretty sure it was the first and only time I have ever won coloured pencils.
I won them a few years ago when I was a Textile Design student.
But now I (sometimes) use them to draw my painted faces.
I love the dancing girls. Weren't the chosen colours actually based on those in an old wedding photo?
ReplyDeleteYes the Textile were based on a photo of Richard (of RBB) and Shelley (of RBB)'s wedding.
ReplyDeleteThe project was about memories being surrealised and of how photos can evoke these memories through being familiarised over the years. Or something like that.
Yes. All my memories of Richard are surreal.
ReplyDeleteI collect pencils too. I have a part time job cleaning at a primary school. The childen drop them on the floor. I used to put them on the tables but then I realized they are great for carpentry and if they are too f'ing lazy to pick them up it's their lose. Lately I've started keeping coloured pencils too.
ReplyDeleteWhy stop at pencils?
ReplyDeleteKids leave coats, bags, shoes, hats and even other kids behind. Why not take them all?
yep kids get what they deserve.
ReplyDeleteAgree! Another kid leaves his sandwiches behind the toilet. His loss my gain I say!
ReplyDelete"yep kids get what they deserve."
ReplyDeleteThe mind isn't fully developed until about 22!
Are you saying we should send em up chimneys?
